Images, measurements and patient data are smoothly transferred between astraia workstations, ultrasound machines, PACS, and laboratory devices. Using DICOM, HL7 or other standards, astraia links all instruments and integrates seamlessly within the HIS, RIS and LIS.
astraia provides laboratory interfaces to PerkinElmer LifeCycle, DELFIA Xpress and AutoDelfia as well as Roche Cobas and Thermofisher Kryptor (Including MoM calculation for PlGF, sFlt-1, PAPP-A and free ß-HCG).
Moreover, astraia offers several solutions for image and measurement data transfer from the ultrasound device to the software.
Imaging
With astraia software, working with your ultrasound images is made much more convenient. Ultrasound files are not only being transfered automatically to the right patient in astraia, you can then edit and review them from the convenience of your desk.
The DICOM 3 standard-compatible astraia DICOM Image Server receives images, image sequences (clips) and 3D/4D volumes from ultrasound machines, which the astraia Image Viewer then displays as thumbnails in an image bar on your screen. It gives
you the option of displaying images separately, in multiples, or as short clips, and allows you to make in-picture measurements and annotate the images with your comments.
With standard image processing functions (i.e. contrast, zoom, brightness, etc.), images can be enhanced and effectively displayed on the screen.
The communication with your PACS is safely performed using the DICOM and HL7 standard. While astraia is very flexible and compatible with most third party systems, we can offer a solution out of the box together with CHILI, another product from the NEXUS family.
Measurements
Biometric and Doppler data, taken during the examination can be transferred to the examination files in astraia at the click of a button, using either the convenient astraia Measurement Data Server or a direct connection to the astraia Client Software.
For many data fields there are growth bars and/or reference charts available, to help you assess your measurements quickly.
Seamless integration
There are many ways to integrate astraia software into your existing IT infrastructure to set up the most efficient and streamlined workflow for your daily work. You can connect any patient or hospital information system with astraia via structured data exchange (like xDT or HL7). No data will be lost, mistyped or assigned to the wrong patient.
Peripheral hardware devices like ultrasound machines can easily be integrated into your clinical workflow with the astraia Worklist Server. Patient data is then directly transferred to the ultrasound machine.
